Novelties and Changes for the 2024/2025 Season:
Updates and Adjustments to the Delta tx
After a remarkably successful first season, our Delta tx e-chopper is now available for the new model year with a number of well thought-out additions and ergonomic details. A particularly positive aspect is that all the new features for this model can also be retrofitted to existing Delta tx tricycles.
UPGRADE: Adapted Stem Design and Extended Information on the Body Height Range
A comfortable riding position is the key to an inspiring riding experience with the Delta tx. In order to be able to respond even better to individual needs, we are offering three stem lengths with the changeover to the new model year from Aug 1st, 2024.
Based on our experience and feedback from the market, the new standard stem covers a body height range between 1.60 – 1.90 m (5′3″ – 6′3″) and is also the equipment for the Delta tx Special Edition.
We offer a shorter and steeper version for people between 1.50 and 1.65 m (4′11″ and 5′5″) tall. This can be selected as an alternative for the freely configurable bike at no extra charge or added to the Delta tx Special Edition at the RRP of 39,90 € (US$ 49)*.
For particularly tall people, we offer a long and strongly curved stem – this can be selected for the Delta tx individual bike at no extra charge and is suitable for body heights from 1.90 m – 2.00 m (6′3″ – 6′7″). The long stem cannot be selected for the Delta tx Special Edition due to the cable lengths being adapted to the standard stem.
Of course, the middle section of the stem can still be shortened if necessary. Particularly pleasing for smaller people: After intensive research and testing, we were able to adjust the size range covered by the Delta tx to a minimum of 1.50 m (4′11″). For riders who are close to the minimum height, we recommend the combination of a high seat, short stem and the newly available shorter cranks (135 mm/140 mm length, see below).
NEW: Quick Adjustment for Delta tx Stems
Whenever maximum flexibility is required when adjusting the stem/handlebar position, our new quick adjustment scores points. The handlebar extension and stem length can be adjusted without tools using two quick-release clamps. This practical option is therefore ideal for use when a Delta tx is to be ridden by several people.
The Stem quickadjust is available as an option for new bikes and as a retrofit item at an RRP of 29.90 € (US$ 35)* for the new model year
NEW: GlideFlex Folding Stem for Added Ease of Access
The optional GlideFlex folding stem, which we have adapted specifically to the Delta tx, offers a noticeable increase in comfort when getting on and off the bike. It can be conveniently folded forward without tools and frees up additional space for particularly easy entry and exit. As soon as you have taken a seat on the seat, the stem is folded back into the riding position and you are ready to go. The inclination in the riding position can be adjusted using an adjustable stop. The GlideFlex folding joint increases the height of the uncut stem by approx. 6 cm (2.3″) – further adjustment is possible by shortening it.
The GlideFlex folding stem is available as an optional extra for new orders and for retrofitting to existing Delta tx models at an RRP of 229 € (US$ 239)* from Aug 1st, 2024. For ergonomic reasons, a combination with the new long stem cannot be configured.
NEW: Vertical Parking Stand
With the new support feet, the Delta tx can be parked upright to save space – a real added benefit, especially in urban environments or where space is limited at home. This practical option is compatible with all seats and can also be used with the optional Bag holder mounted on the seat backrest or the Side Bag Mounts. For particularly easy installation, we recommend combining it with our Anti-tip wheels.
From Aug 1st, 2024, the Vertical parking stand will be available at an RRP of 84,90 € (US$ 95)* both as an option for new orders and for retrofitting to existing Delta tx models.

NEW: All Bafang pedelec system with “thumb throttle” for push assistance and optional 600 Wh battery
The Bafang pedelec systems on the Delta tx and Delta tx Special Edition are outfitting the new model year with a practical additional feature. An ergonomic switch, which is easy to operate with the thumb, activates the push-assist when required and accelerates the Delta tx up to 6 km/h (2.3 mph) from a standing start, even without pedaling. This addition is part of the basic Bafang M300 with Sram X4 derailleur and the Bafang M300 drive options with Enviolo Trekking Automatiq hub. For existing Delta tx models with a Bafang pedelec system, we offer a retrofit kit at an RRP of 49,90 € (US$ 65)*.
From Aug 1st, 2024, all Bafang M300 pedelec systems can be equipped with an optional 600 Wh battery instead of the standard 418 Wh battery. This extra range is available at a surcharge of RRP 149 € (US$ 189)*.
UPGRADE: Larger Display for All Shimano STEPS E5000 and STEPS E6100 Shifting Options
All Shimano STEPS E5000 and E6100 shifting options available for the Delta tx will receive a new, larger display for the model year change. As well as being easier to read, the SC-E6100 display has two other advantages. Thanks to the integrated on/off button, the system can be conveniently activated from the handlebars. The previous activation via the battery on the underside of the Delta tx frame is therefore no longer necessary. In addition, this display can be linked to the Shimano app via Bluetooth so that, for example, adjustments can be made to the support profiles. The prices valid from Aug 1st, 2024 can be found below.
UPDATE: Price Adjustments for Shimano STEPS Shifting Options
For the individually configurable Delta tx models, there will be price adjustments for all Shimano STEPS systems as part of the price list change. Fortunately,we have been able to reduce the RRP of the entry-level versions based on the E5000, while the more powerful options based on the E6100 and EP801 Cargo have increased slightly. Specifically, the following option surcharges apply to new orders from Aug 1st, 2024:

The prices quoted are with the 418 Wh battery, on request we offer the 630 Wh battery in combination with the powerful 4 A charger for the RRP* of 359 € / US$ 485.
NEW: Optional One-Hand Operation and Short Cranks
We now also offer one-handed operation for the Delta tx. All operating elements for the motor control, gearshift, optional turn indicator and brake system are ergonomically mounted on the side you specify when ordering. Safe braking is ensured by the coupled hydraulic Riderever Duo disc brake, supported by a mechanical Avid BB7 disc brake with parking function. In order not to restrict the separability of the frame, we recommend mounting the second brake on the rear wheel.
The One-hand operation is aimed in particular at customers with a significant imbalance in the active mobility of both sides of the body, e.g. after a stroke.
For further customization, shorter cranks are now available in addition to the standard 155 mm cranks – depending on the configured motor system, these have a length of 135 mm (for Bafang M300 and Shimano STEPS E5000) or 140 mm (for Shimano STEPS E6100 and STEPS EP801 Cargo). This option (RRP 24.90 € / US$ 25)* facilitates adjustment with a reduced knee bend angle or shorter legs.
